Well, here I am sitting Vancouver Downtown, it’s 8:15 in the morning and I am preparing to start working. My 3 month old BlackBerry storm is on the table just in front of me and I realize that life without it would be hard. It’s not only about making calls every 20 minutes, it’s also about being able to check email anywhere you might be at the point of time when a new important email hits your inbox…
Another very important feature on BlackBerry is the Internet browser. I surf theĀ Internet for around 600 Mb/month, that is pretty unusual for a cellphone use.
When I am bored and I feel that I could do something useful while sitting and waiting for a train, I read ebooks, online tutorials for C# (My favourite language for now…) or just type in posts for this blog.
I also use my Storm(9530)
- as an morning alarm
- as a contact and note book
- camera (as it got 3.2 Mpx camera and if used properly can take “wild” pictures)
- media storage
- “newspaper”
- for fun
- for conference calls
- texting
- updating my twitter and Facebook (I LOVE to upload pictures on Facebook from my BlackBerry)
and that’s not the full list. I ususally drain my battery in one day, but phone itself would “stay alive” for 2-3 days if used normally.
I would be pleased to hear from you in the comments section what you find useful in your BlackBerries.
